My girlfriends sister lives in Selsey West Sussex and shes going out with this bloke who lives in Scarbrough and they have been together 6 months, but 5 months ago she moved down from Doncaster and they see each other every weekend and the distance is 320 miles anyone think thats silly????

I tried the long distance relationship thing when my ex went to Uni.
It didn't work and we had to split up. I don;t think I could do it again.

my girlfiends in vancover (canada) for a few weeks then to the states, then to australia then to hong kong.

About 30 mile. My M8 and his wife now used to go about 200ish to see each other he lived in darwen and she lived in kings lynn

over the summer for a month i drive 130miles from shrewsbur yto milton keynes to see my misses at the weekends, but thats only for a month

when i was 18 i moved to wales and still was seeing my girl u here in scotland.....
I stayed in wales for 8 months and it didn't go to well..split up but got back together when i came back..
is hard though...wouldn't recommend it at all..

she's in liverpool, im in northwich
note too far, about an hour in car tops, but only see her weekends due to work
lastweek was ace though as she was housesitting in runcorn for her mum so was able to stay there the week & travel to/from for work!

used to stay in london at uni and used to see my missus in southend so used to do roughly 50ish miles very day or every other day to see her
we lasted around 3 years on and off it does work if you put the effort in although if its one sided your pretty fucked

excat same boat mate, i went to portsmouth, she went to de monford, leicester. basicaly i couldent take it only seeing her 1 or 2 times a month + was getting very expensive and i dont have gash all money (student lol)
still good mates tho
