How do you strip gloss paint off a window sill when the windows are UPVC? Can't exactly use a heat gun HELP -

I did this when i was decorating richies room, got paint all over the window and thought i could take it off later i was wrong and now have to use a stanley blade to remove it

why do you want to strip the gloss paint off? you want bare wood? or you painting again?

Just redecorating and I hate the look you get where there is layer upon layer of paint on wood so I thought I would strip it now (only been painted once b4) and start again

Strip al paint off will get better finish. Have just done this to my house!

get some nitromorse, slap it on, wait ten mins, slap on some more

Turps will only degrease it, you need some high grit sandpaper and a lot of energy, give it a coat of primer(water based wood primer) and then fill the defected areas and abraid smooth, then the prep work is 50% done.

Well I'm a Painter and Decorator myself, so maybe I'd go round and do her decorating, and hopefully test her wrist out
