Probably true, for the cost of mantzel box, remap, cams etc your just as well fitting a 2.0L

I blame the stupid prices charged by the dealers. Fucking £600 for a cast piece of alloy (for my car anyway). Admittedly theres a slight bit of design work envolved and getting the moulds made but i'd hardly say it was rocket science.

I think this indicates to me that TB's are the only route to go.
This means it won't be ready until PV next year, infact that might be a good thing.
