Wanted to see if my car was down on power or not, did 4 runs:
1st: 123 Bhp! he said it was wheelspinning.
2nd: 100 Bhp, more like it.
3rd: 98 Bhp....
4th: 98 Bhp...which is the one he printed out.

I guess its about normal.....its 10 years old so its bound to be down on power abit, only 6-8 Bhp or so from 106 Bhp (ecotec model). I think its down on torque more though. What is the torque supposed to be for Gsi's?

I think when my calibra turbo went on the rollers and he did it in 6th and we was sitting on the slam panel to hold it down - 1.5k rpm hear the turbo start to spool - the noise was amazing until the DV went off in my ear!!! lmao

LOL WTF was this rolling road,
they will be never be that far out, and wheelspinning i will be surprised,

I would say go somewhere else mate next time

best place near me is powerstation, they fitted my dastek and di rolling road professional they knew they're stuff.
they said most places over calibrate theyre rolling roads to give a false figure to satisfy the customer.
Also after talking to them it really opened my eyes as to what kind of power gains to get from exhausts, air filters etc, not what people think on here let me tell you that

looks fine to me. approx 5% out could be down to anything. old engine, engine in need of service, tyre pressure, hot air, not enough cooling. taking it to another place is not going to do anything

thats interesting.
was that at the wheels or at the flywheel?
doesn't say if it was corrected or not.
my brothers nova td put out 110bhp and 128 ftlbs torque.
i will dig out the graphs if i can find them.

listen to these men.
both different points, both very true.
btw 5% out is nothing,
people see rolling roads as fact, they are not, the thing rolling roads are good for is an estimate of power, you should also always ask for wheel figures, is this is the figure that should really count to you
or a comparison between modifications on the same rolling road, this can be annoying however when a rolling road re-calibrates
