My best mate came to pick me up from the pub (bearing in mind my best mate is a lass) she gets tret like shes a lump of shite from her boyfriend. he always slags her off and she goes running back to him. i used to tell her at first, but now have given up, and assumed she'll learn, until tonight. she told me on new years eve he hit her. she said she didnt want to tell me as id kick off but it has made me mad (and put me off my pizza  )
What would you do if your best amte told you theyd been hit by their boyfriend? im fuking sick, and cant be arsed waiting for her to learn for herself. i've had a few drinks so i told her the truth - shes probably not speaking to me now! she still ran off down to his house after she'd picked me up from the pub.

Personally mate i think your best off just leaving her to it, if getting hit by him hasnt told her to finish it with him then nothing u do will help solve the situation. shes clearly blinded by her love for him and you getting involved will only make her hate u.

I disagree with that in extreme cases. An old friend of mine had a swollen blood vessel on the brain (a girl) and was told that a serious knock to the head could cause it to burst and kill her. Some pikey chav bint twice her size heard about this and went up to her and started battering her round the head and laughing at her.
Considering it could have killed her and this friend of mine was crying through sheer terror, I considered it perfectly acceptable to slap the chav and tell her to F off. I'd never do it for anything less than that though.
As for this case, all I can say is that one time my (now ex) mate tried to throttle my girlfriend and slapped her. Given the chance I would have kicked him in the face.

but women who take the piss and try and hit guys in nightclubs etc deserve a slap now n then....
