Gonna get a project car which is a 1.5 td corsa and am gonna leave it pretty much standard except for some subtle mods but make it go faster! have read the threads and it seems pretty straight forward to mod them to quite a high bhp for a diesel!!! lol

where do i get a bleed valve from and also is it easy to fit intercoolers and uprate the psi or is it a mechanics job?!

any info would be great!

as for intercoolers, you just need some custom hoses made up.

well bleed valve will cost £15, increasing boost nothing, intercooler around £50 on ebay then a few pipes to hook it up.
suppose you might be able to hook up some 1.7td injectors, exhaust etc
after that it gets a bit pointless and expensive

im sure relocating the air filter does some magic aswell like Kris has done - but it wont work if you're got power steering as its in the way in the engine bay for relocation

used to be like this:
http://groups.msn.com/krispringle/corsaforsale.msnw?Page=1

injectors are a straight swap for the 1.5 ones.
the intercoolers arent made specifically for the corsa, but the xantia one i got will fit with a little persuasion, its huge. also got 2 1.7 tds intercoolers from a cav.

oh and a rsgtt one. various selection, the r5 one would be quite good as the inlet and outlet are the same side.

cav intercooler £10, r5gtt £15, injectors £30. all plus postage for obvious reasons.

actually i used one of these instead of a bleed valve on mine. it does hold the boost slightly better than the bleed valve i used too have.
