I know wrong forum but..

trying to replace door handles exterior..

There is 2 screws on back of handle...how the feck do you get into the right hand one..There is no room due to the window runner?????

Any help appreciated...Not done this before so..........

Take the window runner out, two bolts at the bottom and then pull it downwards inside the door.

unbolt the metal runner its one bolt. if u undo the bottom u can push it to one side

how does the actual handle come out now...?
WHat needs removed..

its clipped in, at the sides - screwdriver it out

There's two bolts on the back of the handle, undo them and the lock mechanism will come away, you'll proboably need to undo the rods which is fiddly, the rods bend at the end and the clip sits on the 90 degree bent bit and rotates around to clip on to a bit of rod, flick it off there and it'll come free.

When the metal black plate is out of the way the handle is just held on to the door with little ramps of plastic which will give when lent on.

2 bolts out of backof handle, the backing plate and the clips as drew says

i wrapped a cloth round a screw driver

do you take rod off at handle rhs or the bit lower down?

The rod for the handle will just lift out I think. The one for the locking thing will need clipping off.

the rod thats attched to the rhs of the handle, the one that moves when handle lifts??? this one......????? think this is the only one to go???

Yeah stays attached to the handle. The rod is only long enough to go from the handle to the door stay, about 9 inches or so?
