you can get a lightened one on an exchange basis for about that form some places

need it for tomorrow though have the engine crane hired out and all....

i would have got it from autovaux but i wasent gonna change it untill i read a thread on Migweb with a simular situation that i was in(driving 10 miles starting off in third )

dont wannt chance it and wreck a brand new sachs clutch

I paid £12.78 inc VAT for 5l of 10W40, oil-filter & new sump-plug at my local vaux

Could get a top quality aftermarket one for less than that!!!!

Still dont think it cost as much as my M3 tho..............the rubber strip that goes inbetween the sideskirt and the body....£43 EACH + vat

what i wanna know is how much they would have charged if i left the car in to them?

€279 for a flywheel
the were looking for €233 for a valeo(shit) clutch which i found another price on a site in the uk for the same valeo clutch for £37

so vaux's price... €237+€233 = €470 + €300 labour? €770? about £460ish??

I love breakers me! Bought quite a few bits myself as well! Middle of the dash had holes were a phone cradle had been, Subaru = £90 + VAT Grade A Subaru breakers = £10!

^ i wasent gonna change it untill i seen that post by daimo on mig.... but i drove about 10 miles with only 3rd and 4th gear( long storey )

clutch has never really worked right ever since despite getting it changed
