yes you can see slight fading in the middle towards the front

there was 2 lads in total vauxhall a couple of months ago with a 1.6 16v turbo a silver corsa ,they had the engine on sale on ebay and the were advertising the bonnet for 125 quid. well last week they rang up where i work after some new wheels and i asked if they still had bonnet .i asked how much to me and they said 75 ,so i said i will think about it and then the next thing they rang again and said i could have it for 50 what a bargain.

yes its not unheard of, as the carbon is so light when you reach high speeds the air forces the bonnet up and the latch snaps off on the bonnet and walllaaa smashes up ,

This is why bonnet pins are used as they hold the bonnet down if the latchs break off.

this is why you see all jap cars and stuff with pins to hold them down.
