I think most modified car mags are goin downhill fast car defo aint as good s it was a few years ago when I 1st started buying it!
Redline I think is probably one of the only decent ones about, maybe cause they have inherited so many staff from other magazines?

I think that Redline is the best mag out there at the mo, and im not just saying that cuz ive got a feature in there this month but i think it has the best cars and variety of things in the mag!
I didnt want a feature with anyone else for this reason!
max power i would say has actually got slightly better than it was a little while ago but still aimed at a certain reader, fast car and revs IMO are generally full of a fair bit of crap! With the exception of boyracer2002 of course!

the way I see it is Fast car and Revs cater for the cruise side of the modding scene, somthing that doesnt interest me in terms of actually cruising or that style of modifiying my car.
I think Max Power has its place for a few reasons, 1 its the most well known UK mag, 2 Due to its popularity it does get the best of the worlds modified cars, 3 it is a perfect mag for advertisers to build demo cars ans show them off. 4 Little boys like the tits and arse.
However Max Power has lost sight that the cars it features are usually demo cars or completly unobtainable in terms of cost to most to build (there are exceptions IE Jagcorsa).
This is were redline I think gets it just right, they go for stylish cars that cater for true enthuisasts/show car builders that will go that extra mile to come up with something new that is not tacky! The fact they do there own shows, events and dont take themselves all that seriously makes it a better mag IMHO.

i agree
hate fastcar n revs tho revs used to be a good read til they includin models in it to try compete with the others, spoiled it imo
stopped buyin max for a while but have been buyin again recently
