Been thinking about traveling through Europe for a Month or so before going to Oz in the summer. Ive been out working on the Golf today and thinking it would be so much fun in that

Thinking about going through France, then spain down to Marbella in the costa del sol. Anyone every done something like this and what were your experiences

Yes you could probably have a very good holiday for the same amount and id get pissed off doing all the driving

Would be okay if you take your time, would be cheaper than a conventional holiday as accomodation costs would be nothing as you can camp.
Can split petrol also so that wouldnt cost too much

Make sure if you do it to tell ur insurance company, crash over there and you won't get paid out.

Yeh the driving would be shared with the bird i would be going with, don't mind her driving the golf but dunno bout the astra. Would be more fun with the roof down IMO

Maybe - think id prefer 2 weeks in zanti wiping my ass as much as possible & blocking there rubbish drainage system

we have an appartment in Marbella so can stay there for a week for free fuel is cheap and can just pack a tent for the journey

nah not in Europe, fuel was dead cheap when we were there lastweek, and did bout 800km in our hire car
