Hiya,
Being a girl and not knowing much about cars isn't really helpful when i own a modded corsa, so i was just wondering if anyones knows, does an induction kit make your petrol go down quicker? Coz i own a 1.2 8v and i can only get bout 200 miles out of it. I thought i would get more out of it than that. Is there anything that you can buy that makes the same noise that doesn't waste petrol?
Thank you
Katie

You have 17" wheels too? They'll cause more rolling resisitance which lowers fuel economy...

Mine burns more petrol when idle to compensate for the extra air. Damn that mass air meter.

I seem to be doing better than most as I got just over 100 miles (mainly motorway 90 mph) from a tenners worth of petrol.

air filters won't reduce fuel consumption by a large amount, it'll be hardly noticable

I know the filter will hardly make a difference but it's psychological as you rag it more without realising so you can hear the 'roar' fo your induction kit

best thing to do with the 1.2 8v is throw it in the bin.
no tuning potential

I third it. Even my 1.9 Turbo Diesel has more tuning potential and it's a diesel
