now i can see what all the fuss is/was about

drove my mate from works one this mornig and what fantastic handling car, if a little scary as everything is fed back through the steering wheel so vilentley

this one is standard apart from bilstein suspension, BBR star chip and scoipon system

not as fast as a xe'd corsa in a stright line but round the bends and a track it would have one easy

now tempted buy it as its one of the mintest ones around and all my mate wants for it is £1200

never liked them before i drove one

Guy on scoobynet has a 1.9 GTi, with the Mi16 engine. It may be twin carbs too. Think it ran 15s at scooby shootout last year.

This is the problem with them. Isn't even the newest one still at least 10 years old or soemthing and a lot are owned by people who just pure thrash them and dont look after them
If you can get a minter though then definately worth it

Kills me to say he payed 1K for it too as the bloke was emigrating
