(sorry to joff and all the other people that find this type of post very unintresting and boring)

as i can only work on the car in dry weather, so though id better start now as it will never get finished otherwise

arch liners removed and waxoiled behind

what they look like before

also the whole front panel has been waxoiled

hubs and suspension arms been panted in hammerite, as well as anti-roll bars

front konis being rubbed down to get rid of the rust before being sand blasted and the painted in a random colour

also to put back on i have had the bumper bars, mounts for these, anit roll bar mounts and washers, another rear beam, suspension cups and a few other bits powdercoated

heat it up in a bowl of boling water, then apply it with a brush, takes ages and ages to dry but protects the car very well

Jimbo, discs looking a bit corroded mate - better get 'em powder puffed as Mike would say or maybe paint 'em red like that lovely Bora I worked on the other day.

Oh, hate to break it to you mate but sand blasting gets rust off, so no need to spend time hand rubbing down the Konis prior to sand blasting

Would suggest doing a very thorough job of protecting the shafts and seals though, because if any shot gets on or in there, you are, to put it bluntly - f*cked.

That's why mine look like so sh*te -
too scared of finishers ruining my shocks to risk getting them re-finished.
The thought of having to fork out on a new set sends a shiver down my spine.
If they work good, f*ck what they look like

Don't polish it, punish it
