Been doing it most on the day today & I really can't believe how much I hate doing it
I've cut my hands to shreds on the metal foil bits & the glue seems to be impossible to get off
When I pull the glue off my hands its actually taking my skin off
At least my car won't look like a kit kat inside now though

Bit of both really. Should I be?
I've found that making a little ball of the black glue & pressing that down into the bits of glue that wont come off is the best way of removing it
Kinda like waxing really I suppose

use a paint scraper or plastic ice-scraper
pry it under & slide it under while pulling the loose end up gently, but not enough to snap it...
worked for me - its harder where its stuck to the silicon sealing on the car, and also where there has been alot of pressure against the deadening to pressing it more in the metal, but it will come off...

I stripped my new shell of sound deadening. Had to use blowtorch and scraper, followed by a paint thinners to remove last traces. Felt as high as a kite after each 'session'

nooooooo, dont heat it up to take it off, that makes it go gooey and soft, and a bastid to remove. Its much easier to get off when its cold, but obviously you cant freeze it to get it off! Ive got a fair bit left to do to mine still, but have taken a lot out already.
Also, when you heat it up to get it off, it burns ya hands! Do it cold

Dry ice Obviously most people can't get hold of it, I've gone into my Dad's office a few times before and he's been cooling champagne with it, though he never lets me have any (dry ice)
