yep, no replacement for displacement!
if you want 300 bhp then no i would uprate internals on the 2.0, and hybrid turbo, phase 3

obvious answer to this is a yes really, any mod to enhance the performance is worth it, if he is going full hog.

just make sure the rest of the engine can handle that sort of power.

its alot of money though...

88mm is max bore size on 20let/xe.... but not recommended

Frontera uses a 2.2.... its block is th esame, just a diff crank to increase the stroke...

QED do a 2.2 block that can be bored out to a 2.4..... dunno what pistons etc

You cant have 2.2 - the block wont allow it.

You cant buy oversize pistons to make the block 2.2

You can get 89 pistons for a 2050 bore which therefore makes the block a 2.1 but no further.

Where have you seen that?
If your refering to Vauxhall displacement of 2.3 the Chevette HSR was 2.3 twin cam but the engine is totally different.

I have never seen anything above a 2.1 because of my points made above.

new crank... will increase the stroke.....

2.2 bottom end on frontera is a 20xe with a diff crank

QED do a 2.2 bottom end that can be bored out to 2.4

hence - you can have a 2.4let

The head would not fit on a 2.4 "bored" block
There would be no cylinder clearance.

The 2.2 Frontera block isnt a moddifed xe either.
