WTF please step away from the crack and sit down

It's not Fraud, The company made a mistake and Pug Nut filled up two cars and was charged less than normal if it's advertised at a certain price they have to sell you it at that price, Pug-nut probably alerted them to the problem and they will have readjusted it,

If you went into Tesco's and they had a litre bottle of Jack daniels normally £17.99 but priced at £5.99 would you say "oh shit i cant take that it's normally 17.99.. hmm could be done for fraud here"

Would you f*ck you'd be through that checkout and out the door quicker than that poof Dale Winton can say Supermarket sweep

If advertised no they cant It's false advertisement,

At my old work We had a set of Seat covers out on the Shelf at £21.99 some how the pricing gun jumped round two digits from 9 to 1 and stamped it wrong, Came up on the Computer as £29.99 so i had to sell them at £21.99

I think you'll find If it is ADVERTISED at a Price they have to sell it to you at that price other wise it's false advertisement and the Company can be reported under the Trade Description act

Greg is right they can refuse to sell it to you for whatever reason however if they do sell it to you then it must be at or below the advertised price otherwise the sale is illegal and they can be fined silly money by trading standards

and i doubt they'd be able to refuse a petrol sale as they can hardly ask you to put it back once you've filled up!

advertisement had to advertise the price for 14 (or 28) cant remember off the top of my head for it to be false advertising, and the price has to be available in above 75% of stores at the advertise price.

if you price something wrong you dont have to sell it at that price at all. Priced goods are an invitation to sale, the agreement has not been completed untill transaction has finnished. you can refuse a sale for whatever reason you want.

If it's advertised at a price they have to sell it at that price thats the law..

If it wasn't the Law Petrol companies could advertise petrol at 30p a litre and Charge you 82.9p
