anyone go up the 1/4 mile today, i wasnt going to then i saw how short the q's were so went and had a play
my times
1st run:
60ft-2.334
1/4mile-15.798@85.38mph
2nd run:
60ft-2.310
1/4mile-15.798@85.70mph
3rd run:
60ft-2.575
1/4mile-16.332@84.75mph
had a bit too much wheelspin on my last run, but not to bad for a 1.6 me thinks, still think it will go faster with more practice......... opinions/?/

Wow! they're good times - though when I originally read it I thought it said 15.3 which would of been  - but still

yes someone told me i had done a 15.1 i was very excited, then i realised that the knobend couldnt read and he ment 15.7 lol!

not bad for 1600 mark whats xe pull 14.9/15 flat if u get good run at 95-100 mph
cant be unhappy with those times though, just terminal speed whats lacking all 0-60 from ur engine and then slowing

what times has your xe done?
i was trying to go up against an xe but there were so few people running the 1/4 today, did all 3 runs in 30mins which was amazing!

not ran yet mark because my car is off road u should see state of it its stripped lol but at redline rumble about 3 xe's went down one my m8's from rugby he pulled 14.9 at 97mph

16.32 was my best, which i was pretty pleased at. I destroyed a standard Gsi and was neck and neck with a 2.0L 8v corsa.

ojc, you car weighs a hell of a lot less than mine,, which im guessing to be the same as paul w's at 913kg(ish) be interesting to see how it goes with the manzel, jim(with the black nova) ran a 15.3 (i think) before his rebuild. hes hoping for high 14's now

One of our mates had the Elite parked up with us in the camping area and he waited for ages to see it. 10 mins after he went it went up the strip

my first ever time on track. times as follows
15.961 @ 87.89
15.315 @ 92.06
15.372 @ 90.73
fluffed third on the first run, but fairly happy with the times.
i'll keep practising starts and should be able to shave a couple of tenths.
