Got my new K750i yesterday from Vodafone. I have just finsihed putting my sim card back in my Nokia 6600

THe K750i is fantastic, but when talking to someone on the phone they sound very 'tinny' and awkward to hear. I have changed the volume on the side and still seems 'tinny'.

Anyone else experience the same problem?

Might ebay the phone or send it back for another upgrade.

yours must be a bad one. i upgraded from a 6230 and had a 6600 before that. The sound quality was one of the things i was very impressed with. Take it back

Mines not tinny but is very quiet. I did read that it maybe a bug and is fixed in the latest firmware.

It just seems that its in mono and the nokia sounds very stereo.
Getting voda to collect it and give me a new one

After having a look on the net a few other people have had problems with the ear speaker volume being tinny and crap.

Returning mine tomorrow. Dunno whether to go 4 the samsung e720 or just get another k750i?

Well I work in a phone shop & so far we haven't had a single one returned for any speaker problems

I think there are quite a few people complaining about it. There are quite a few bugs with the K750 but the latest firmware gets rid of most of them.

My k750 shop fone is fine perfectly clear.


My sisters K750 is also fine



However, if you are thinking of going from a K750 to a samsung phone on the condition of call quality im afriad i cannot restrain myself to not do this

Need some new themes on it cos the standard ones from Voda are shite.

Alex i have a free theme website somewhere at home, im not sure they have 750 themes yet but it s an awesome site 100's of them on there for all SE phone s

Try www.mobile9.com, they have free K750 themes on there. You can either download them or get them via wap.

How do you get the firmware update? Can you get it from the sony ericcson website?

3 days, but i want it now!
Last time i ordered, waited about a month, running to the front door everytime i heard a van. Turned out it got lost at the depot and had to re-order. Everyone else always seems to have their phone the next day. Then when it comes round to me, something goes wrong!

just read that o2 are waiting for a new batch of k750i's as there has been quite a few complaints about them freezing up. A new batch arrives on 20th so thats when they will be in stock.
