Thats how the system works. If you get 0-4 years you serve half and if you get 4+ years you serve 2/3. Also tagging is an option towards the end of your sentence.

hence the welcoming back. As Ian said, the conviction is spent, which isnt entirely true, cos to quote kerry 'now on a 6month tag' so cant go out after 7:30pm at night and before a certain time in t'morning.

Stop yer whining, think of your money as a tax payer that is being saved from him not being in prison. He said himself, he's learnt his lesson, so is no longer a threat to society.

I served time for smiggling weed from Jamaica. It was stupid but whats done is done.
