they're for chavs...

There's a dude at my work, captain rosco knows who I mean. He's just bought a corsa 1.2 8v...

He's already got wheel trims, exhaust trim, neon washer jets, seat covers, sunstrip, silver wiper covers etc...

the kid broke the cars hand brake cable doing a hand brake turn a couple of days after buying the car in the staff carpark.

CHAV I struggle not to laugh at him whenever I see him. I heard him saying his car had more power than a 1.0 12v the other day because his engine was larger.

Why do kids who turn 17 think just because they have little money and want to modify their car, they should go and ram raid halfords for the cheapest and most tackiest things they can get. Why not save your money for something decent like alloys or lowering.

tint film imo isn't a sunstrip with 'CORSA' or 'VAUXHALL' or MOTORSPORT or something stupid on it.

Stand a typical person who has a sunstrip on their car (even you leeleg) infront of me... and they will probably fit my definition of a chav.

and by sunstrip I really mean one with pointless writing on it like Vaux, Corsa, etc...

So imo Sunstrips are for Chavs

I got a corsasport.co.uk one about 2 - 3 years ago... as I've said, the sunstrips that I think chavs have are the one's with 'MOTORSPORT' or 'CORSA' or 'VAUXHALL' on it. Something that is either irrelevant, or obvious like the fact we know it's a corsa yet has a corsa sunstrip.

Corsasport.co.uk sunstrip was bought for reason's I liked the site, wanted to show I was a part and advertise the site more. Sadly I put it on the afternoon, then it ripped off my car that night when I was doing 70 mph on a dual carriageway I didn't realise you had to leave it to dry.

I never went back to the sunstrip way though as I shortly realised how chav-ish they are. Most 17 / 18 year olds go through a 'chav' stage with their car, but when they appear on the other idea wanting to go subtle they realise how silly they were. However, I've never had neon washer jets, exhaust / wheel trims, seat covers, wheel covers, etc etc etc etc.

you guys will see what I mean soon

My brother had a sunstrip in his car with corsa in it and he is the complete opposite of a chav. He is a skater, in a heavy metal band... so your wrong.

Is chav seriously in the dictionary? I believed it was just a slang term for a group of baseball cap / burbary wearing, chain covered chav people. Hence no actual defination but rather a social statement. So infact everyone's term of 'Chav' could be unique to themselves and their beliefs of what is chav and what isn't - and this is possibly why everyone uses the term so much
