looking for a set for the slut.

what do i need? cams,veirner pulleys?

how does it run without re map on 264s?
i know u dont get the potential bhp butwas going to fit the cams and drive it to dastek to get it mapped.just wondering if its driveable

where do i get cams?
what makes best?

if you get veirner pulleys you have to get after market engine management

so is it no necessary to get veirner pulleys????

just want cams and chip for the now.

would it tick over lumpy once re mapped you think?

coz the cam sensor thingemy lugs aren't on verniers

should just be a straight swap as far as parts are concerned.

You will have a horible idle if you dont raise the idle speed.

My x14xe wouldnt really idle at all, until it was remapped to idle at 1020rpm

expect so mild losses in low end drivability, but noticable gains from 3-3.5k upwards....

mines idles around that anyways lol just over 1000rpms.

that not normal ????

a forgot what my old sport idled at after going down the french route.

so what should my car idle at?

got mantzel
getting cams
apr con rods
and dastek for re map

i am going to do the same as that once i pay off the debts. going to get a lexmaul inlet and exhaust manifold tho

should be 700 or so idle.... sure your rev counter is right?

mine idles at anout 1250 on choke and 750 off choke, get a lexmaul a_j_mair, you'll love it

hmm al need to check that,thinking about it the previous owner had fitted lockwood dials and the rev needle is pointing down on the dial and jerks slightly when going up in the revs if u get me.needle is rubbing on the dial. need to get my finger out and fix it

My car used to idle at 2,500-3,000 rpm.

mantzel sell them on there website, however i dont speak german and dunno how to get them shipped from germany.

i imagine courtenay will still supply them eh?
