Bought it off ebay 2 months ago. See here.

Car hasn't changed much at all.

I installed a brand new Kenwood KDC-W4031 MP3/WMA CD Player 2 weeks ago.
Added a set of Vauxhall locking nuts and an oil change 400 miles ago.
Also got the proper Vauxhall spray paint/lacquer and touch up kit if anyone wanted to have a go themselves.

I've only covered 1000 miles since i got it.

I'm selling because i've just got a pay rise (maybe a company car aswell) and fancy something more sensible and comfortable.

Ideally looking for around £1500, but i'd consider any offer over £1000.

Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 GLS, with 2.0 C20XE Engine Conversion from an Astra GTE

Just had a full service 3 months ago.

When I started modifying this car I had a lot of love for it, but now I have lost the love, so I’ve bought another vehicle and now have no reason for this car. It does need some attention, but only small thing left to do. With a bit of TLC this car can be fantastic. For a light weight car it is very fast! It can keep up with UK estate Scooby’s! Many times I have shocked people, who think their 1.8, 2.0 and even 2.2l cars are fast. The look on their faces when a little corsa speeds past them is priceless!

I have not modified the outside of the corsa more than I have too, I wanted the Sleeper look! Standard looking, but sports car performance!

This car runs perfectly, the engine is in good condition, no smoke or coughing.

Engine was fitted by myself and a friend who had done many conversions before, Wiring was done professionally by a company near me.

PVD Engine mounting kit

Full Powerflow De-cat System with a 5” tailpipe (quite loud),

GTE 2.0 brakes

Spax Full Suspension kit, -60mm drop

Colour-coded arches and bumpers.

15” Compo MO’s in perfect condition, no marks or scrapes

Toyo Proxies all with very good tread

Electric, heated mirrors

Electric windows

Sunroof

Toad Alarm, Immob (works although the siren has stopped working)

Just had new sump gasket and rear wheel bearings.

Brand new Bosch Starter Motor

Brand new Battery with 3 yr Guarantee

All Electrics on the car are in working order.



Rattle from behind dash when put foot down, not sure what it is, sounds like a dropped washer.

No Head unit or speakers installed in the car.

Power Steering pump is not connected, although still has the power steering rack on the car. I have all the parts for the pump to be bolted straight back on the car.

Heater blowers aren’t working (may be the fuse, may be the motor itself)

Idling a little high at 1250rpm

Needs a passenger bottom door pocket.

Paint is flaking on bits of the arches, needs to be resprayed.

Few small scratches and dints, you’d expect on a 7 yr old car as you can see.

Can hear the electronic tappets when first start the car, as soon as it warms up, the tappet sound goes, just like any other C20XE.

Few small dints around the car, nothing major. Scratch on passenger door and scrape on rear panel/arch.

Just one other problem i forgot to mention is that the exhaust seems to be knocking a bit.

Anyone at £900? Right bargain for someone mechanically minded (not me ).

I won't be getting a company car now, but i've found one i would like to buy.

Just been out to have a quick look and i can't see anything wrong. The noise seems to happen mainly when the car is hot (i burnt my hand the other night by touching the exhaust). I'm pretty crap when it comes to the mechanical workings of cars.

The noise seems to come from the middle to rear of the car.
