cheers, one skirt is starting to crack though guys mainly due to running koni's virtually on bump stops for god knows how long, got some fk konigsports and waiting on some smaller helper springs from bat. What i was going to do was get front and rear arches as i thought the rear was weld in so no more chance of cracking

Yes, all £1500 worth of it. It's also not the best fitting kit either and takes a lot of work to fit!

When you consider you get front and rear bumpers, two entire front wings, rear arch sections, side skirts and a rear spoiler, and a Combat kit used to sell for not much less, its actually very cheap.
I know Dave was wanting to put the price up due to the sheer time and labour that goes in to making one, so if he's quoted you £800, buy it straight away.
You can order it in kevlar if you don't fancy fiberglass but if you need to ask the price before you give him the card details, its probably not the kit for you.
When you consider that on cars which have had it properly fitted, there's a roll cage welded in and the entire rear section skin is cut away and the rear arch refabricated for rear coilovers and loads of suspension travel, a bit of filler around your light cluster isn't the end of the world.

Mine is sold now to a guy who is actually going to build a car instead of looking at it. I wasn't really going anywhere with it. Still got some bits to throw on the GSi when I get a minute though.

You mean for strength? Its no thicker on the wings than on the bumpers, there's no protection against impact in the rally car, but then there's no one sitting in the back.

from experience bonding f/glass to steel + bodyflex etc = cracking over time

If done properly it shouldn't crack.
Also, there is no way this kit retails at £800 I was quoted £200 an arch a while back But considering that the moulds would have been pretty expensive to make and they are in a bit of a niche market I can understand...
