Hey guys got my x16xe yesterday i know it needs a few hoses but not sure which ones could someone help me out please
Heres the pics of the engine, i would be greatful if you could circle the bit your on about and tell me which hose i need, sorry to be a pain the arse Also is there a clutch on the engine as it was supposed to come with one
I know it needs a alternator belt and a rad too ... Cheers

I also have the wiring loom but that all looks fine

engine mount (thats the bit that fits in the chassis leg, same as what yours has, pick the opne that looks in better condition and blot the bit i got for you onto it)

What do you mean there Rob me being dumb probably, do i still need the mount im buying off you
Tom, yes i have the ECU whats the transponder look like
I can get a ecu , transponder and key anyways

the engine mount is in two parts, the bit that fits to the car, and the bit that fits to the engine. the bit in the car (pictured there) is the same, so you may as well use the best of the two.

think that covers it. there is a better way to plumb in that throttler body piping tho, hang on ill get you a pic....

dont need much there from what i can tell
fan belt, power steering pump... cant see anything else missing..
yes you have a clutch its between the engine and the gearbox!

Cheers corsa 808 great help ! , im using my EPS so shouldnt need pas pump if im correct ? I need a de-cat cause the engine has no cat so if money allows i may also get a four branch manifold mate This is going in a 1.2 16v corsa B by the way

ill speak to a mate, he has a spare pas pump. and the wiring is a little more difficult when going into a 1.2 16v.

just remember you wont pass an mot without a cat.... do you have the wireing loom? i dont see it?

Mate who i bought off has said it needs ..
water temp sensor
Crank position sensor
water pipes and rad pipe
And maybe gear linkage not sure if i can use my 1.2 linkage though..

the the 1 linkage i'm not sure about... 1.2 8v, 1.4 and 1.6 gear linkages are all the same... dunno if the 1.2 16v is the same but i would imagine ti is as i think they use the f13 gearbox...!
it does need both rad hoses... although you 1.2 pasenger side hose should fit...
cant see the cts or the crank angle sensor from the pics...

Anyone know where i can get one of the little air mass thingys that go on the pipe from the dblias to the airbox i dont have that bit
