2 days into the engine swap, and this is all i've managed to do so far, still waiting on bits from vauxhall and pipercross ( joff) so i can properly get going

my car now looks hard

and has no central locking!

morettes, or twin headlights, i've removed the inner main beam lense (outer does dip, main and sidelights)

it took a while, but i realised something was different

gotta pop all the water hoses off now and get the fluids out, then hopefully get the engine out tomorrow morning

yes

if i ever get to go to pipercross for them

i have to wait for broster to come home so i can get a lift as i have no battery....

this afternoons progress.....

now a bit stuck as we need a 30mm socket for the castle nut on the driveshafts....

it will be out tomorrow... extreme lightness!!!

y do u need to undo the castle nuts? or are you swapping dirveshafts as well?

im assuming u have taken off the anti roll bar? so the bottom of the suspension strut is free to move about. theres enough play in it to pop the shafts out
i tied them up level-ish again after id removed the engine tho, to relieve stress on the cv's and bearings etc
