I bought my missus a sat nav for xmas from Dixons and after opening it and trying it, realised it was shit and the bloke had lied to me. He told me it did the full postcode search and not the 5 digits a lot of them tend to do. Well, it doesnt and its hard to use so gonna get a refund. Question is, do i have to take it back to the store that i bought it from or can i go to my local one in bromley, cant be arsed to treck to bluewater for a refund.

i work in retail and if it was my member of staff who had lied to get a sale he would be out. I find its best to be honest with customers about what products do and their capabilities.

You can lie about other stuff though.

Agreed!!!!

Just because you work in retail doesn't mean you know everything about returning a product.

Before i started working in retail i knew!

weather depending, trains are up the spout wit the snow. From london victoria you can get straight to bromley south, but its a bit of a treck to the garage from there, again id get outta the station and cross the road for a 208 bus to downham, stops literally right outside the garage iirc.
