Ok i'm looking to get some undercar neons. I've seen some that you simply plug into a cigarette lighter, being a corsa the cigarette isnt really in the best location to have leads and wires going to, also you would have to have it open the entire time. How hard is it to wire neons to their own switch within the car? And can anyoen recommend a kit that will allow you to do this? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

They're not that nice tbh unless ure names Nath and your from Essex but it is possible you need to remove the ciggy lighter end and run the positive and negative to a power and earth in ure car (possibly ure lights as when u turn that on they go on) if you want a switch to turn them on and off when u want you need to run the power cable to a constant feed but wire a switch into it.

cheers sam, hmmm i don't know, im very undecided on neons, my mate had sum varad led bars on his barely modded VW Polo, they were quite cool, i guess the novelty wears off though with them, especially as he only has them on when hes parked. I don't know :S

I wouldn't do it, I used to have them on mine. They looksed ok I guess, but I took them off after a few weeks.

Hmmm i wouldn't do it mate, i'd use the money against something more suitable for your car - have you got any recent pictures of it?

will do matey, i havn't got the money or a leaneant insurance company to allow me to do much more to my car though. I'm doing up the interior atm. But will get you some photos asap

lol no problem matey, i'm sending another 2 now tell me what you think and n e tips We aint spoken for a while, i've done a fair bit now, i have a magnex 6x9 ready to go on now drilled airbox jus sum light changes etc, refurbished my vaux alloys so they shiny and silver blue drums etc, done loads inside:S Just running outta small mods i can do to make it look better

just looked over your pics mate; I recommend you lower it, alloys maybe? Rub strips could come off and colour code arches .etc or keep them on and have them sprayed anthracrite or black like Rob B's for example

lowering and alloys i can't do /afford insurance won;t let me full stop, ive tried already, thas y i refurbished my original alloys, yeh i could have the bumpers sprayed black, must be some other little things i can do See y i was considering neons?

pls dnt put neons on it u have standard whels and ride height as ppl will think ur some chav.
truet me i had to have it for a while adidnt look right, looks ok now its lowerd and got alloys on
