Was looking at buying my 325i convertible today and going and collecting it next week, dad knew what i was doing and was fine with it. Said about it to Mum lastlight and she threw all the toys out the pram and went on about u allready have two cars on the drive...blah blah blah; u dont pay any rent yet u can afford a BMW...

I wasnt fussed about parking it on the drive, as there is parking in the cul de sac which is safe. But she is having none of it I want both BMW's at the same time as i wanna transfer all the parts over and sell the coupe standard; but there goes that plan

Gonna be keeping the vert

The Saxo is only half mine, as me and my dad go halfs on them and split the profit; so technically i only have 1.5 cars on the drive.

its taken this long for someone to say something, my rents tell me off for wanting to change my car after 6months, let alone having 3 cars AND not paying rent

i will only be able to park the vert off the drive as it would be the only car insured; think she may notice me using that one for uni Would mean that my car would be infront the garage all the time and need moving in the morn and evening to put her car away but hey!!

But its the cheapest way that i can do it, as need to keep my 18's for the tyres and the lights and strips would be anther few hundered to buy again. Also this is the best time to buy a convertible

Yeh i understand that, but i was told that during uni i wouldnt have to, and in my final year now and buying and selling cars has ment that the only debt i will have from uni is my student loan, no overdraft or credit card bills and i dont have time to work more as i have soooo much work on this year. Also the saxo is not all technically mine and was dads idea to buy that one; i was happy to leave it a while after making £1000 on the 106.
