i dont have any scrubbage on the back, only the front, but like i say only on some speed bumps and some tight bends. the tyre rubs on the top of the inner arch i think

sounds to me like you need to debolt the inner arch and stick the plastic panel back on with super strong glue, i had to on my old corsa, theres a full description of how do arch mods in faq forum

think it could be that, i think they have a few bolts missing.
also, this is the first suspension i have bought b4, the back dampers seem loud i think when the piston moves in and out, or maybe its just me

im just getting used to the 17s and suspension as its only been on for 2 days,
so i am getting used to going over speed bumps slower, the rubbing only occurs when i go over the speed bump to fast and on really sharp turns at speeds.

that you experiencing probelms with correct offset, only lowered 40mm and only 7" wide. shouldnt have any problems at all.
BTW the ride is ALWAYS wank on 17s, especially when lowered, its crap!

take all bolts out and bond arches back on.
take it slow over speed bumps and dont fly round bends. there shouldnt be a problem unless your raggin it

No need to bond the arches on.
You can get away with trimming off the excess thread on the arch bolts so you can still get the nut on. It stopped mine from rubbing on the front and meant I could still use the original fixings
