I start off with the Miguiars gold class then meguiars tech wax then i ajax the window and armorall the trim. Some time i high gloss the paint and just for a quick polish i use max wax. The autosol is for the zorst and AG vinyl rubber care or meguiars endurance high gloss.

I used to use Autoglym for everything. Now I use Turtle Wax Platinum car wash cos it foams up really well. Use Tec Wax afterwards but everything else Autoglym.

I do use Autoglym Ultra Deep Shine now and again but its a total bitch to get off compared to Meguiars

If you find autoglym polish hard to tak off your putting on to much..

try putting on a SUPER small amount next time.. then see how easy it is to take off..

Yea, it won't be as easy at meg's

but megs sucks

Autoglym all the way

start off with using meguiars clay bar, wipe all residue off then meguiars deep crystal polish then finish off with meguiars NXT generation spray wax. Do that every 6months and just a 10minute wash using NXT generation stuff makes the car look freshly polished.

Yeah I have to admit Autoglym gives a better shine but I use Meguiars if I'm just doing a quick polish. Will try using a smaller amount of Autoglym next time as I do tend to put it on pretty thick

The only product I dont like of Autoglyms is the shampoo, its crap IMO.

What do people do for tyre shine? I have Autoglym spray on stuff but if you spray it on it goes all over the nice clean alloys and if I put it on a cloth to apply so it doesn't go on the alloys it doesn't shine, just cleans!

The megs stuff is awesome for wheels, its a gel and goes miles, just wipe it on, and it doesnt splatter all down the side of the car either. And it smells of blueberrys

I use the tyre shine.

I try not to spray to much on the alloys, however some always drips down onto them or oversprays onto them.

I just a damp shammy to buff the alloys off and leave the tyres... the stuff drys and makes the best shine if you just leave it.. I do not buff the tyres off..

The Autoglym shampoo is fantastic imo.

I personally use more of the product then they recommend... They say 2 cap fulls? That does bugger all.. but if you put a good splosh of it in its great!!

the autoglym shampoo contains some rinse aid, this makes the water run off the car much easier than any other shampoo I have ever used...

I like it..

I have to say, I have never used ultra deep shine.

I use Autoglym Supream polish. This is from their trade range..

It's been out in the trade for around 2-3 years and it's basically the trade version of ultra deep shine..

It is a different colour and has slightly more cut in it than ultra deep shine..

Its a quality polish for removing fine scratchs..

Polishing normally with a polish that has a cut in makes no differance in my opinion.. It is just usful when you can rub a little harder and remove scratches!

I never bother with spray on window cleaners, they tend to smear the grease on the window all over the place. I just use Autoglym Glass Polish inside and out and it makes them so clean and clear
