i have a 1.2 16v sxi corsa b i have been told that if i get my engine maped that it will take it from 70bhp to 90bhp is that true and how can you tune the 1.2 16v without changing the engine because i havent got engouh money or time for that

you can get an inlet for the engine couple that with a remap of the fule and ignition curves will give you extra power

but in answer to your question, no you wont get 90bhp from just mapping your car.

no its not that simple...
mapping will cost in excess of £1000 and will probably (on standard engine) relieve 1-2bhp...

£1000s i no someone that will do it for £200 and he didnt it two hes what sort of bhp will i get and what is involved in re maping

mapping wont cost that much, chip wizards do mapping for £450 ish, they did my old engine.
but yes as you say standard gains will be minimal

if you remap a modern turbo diesel engien you get about 20 - 40bhp just form changing its standard settings

Ask in help zone FFS! its not hard.
get some brakes off a land rover, they are a direct swap, but replace the hoses with some pipe off similar to garden hose pipe, helps aid the braking.
