I seem to have to put in around a 750 ml - 1000 ml every 1000 miles roughly, seems quite alot to me but then im used to my 1.2 which i basically never had to put oil in.... because it never really seemed to use any...
Anyway state your engine size and any mods you have to your engine.

1.2 16v standard engine. Magnex backbox
No oil is ever put in as it never uses any!
Tried a K&N on it for a short while and it used oil like it was going out of fashion so went back to standard airbox. Ran shit with the K&N on aswell

put an adittative in the oil with it mines was using lots till i put the stuff in with the oil it now runs fine with just small top ups
1.4 16v viper kit with valvoline oil

my sport uses oil to and its only done 30k. Id guess about 0.5 Litres every 5k miles or so.

mine uses oil as well (i.6 sport) however i tried some special oil additive in mine, (makes the oil thicker) needs topping up though, as i havent got round to buying any at the minute

tuned 1600 do use oil due to them revving so high. my x16xe on tb's uses 1 litre every 1500 miles, and that engine is in mint condition and only 7000 miles on it.

my 1.2 uses feck all oil; think its had one half litre top up other than when it's been serviced in the two years i've had it, 'cept when the sump fell to bits... :/

my c16xe with manztel was using a litre a week last time i drove it... but it is in severe need of a rebuild... thats why..

my old 1.6 did a whole engines worth going from Huddersfield to Santa pod and then one home too yes it was fucked and pouring smoke out lol

paranoid about it, granted if i give it death for a week it will need topping up but if i keep it below 7500rpm its good
