I use the autoglym supreme polish. I think its meant to be trade only but you can buy it from a few of the big car shows.

Yea, you got to wax after polishing, unless you use something like Super Resin Polish or Meg's Tech Wax which are combined polishes and waxes.

supreme is just ultra deep shine for the trade and a diff colour!

I wouldnt touch a dark car with super resin
I dont rate it at all compared with ultra deep
but with gold class wax on top is top notch!
all the swirls and light scratches cannot be seen!

Used Meg NXT on mine yest and forgot how bloody good it was compared to autoglym

However if on a dark car use gold class used it on my parents focus and the results were stunning

I'd use Auto Gylm, Meguiars 3 Stage isn't bad but it's a lot of hard work in comparison!

the Autoglym Ultra Deep Shine is a c@#t to buff off compared to Super Resin Polish and I couldnt tell a diference in shine.

Best bet is Super Resin then The Extra Gloss Protection.(all autoglym)

It is said taht super-resin polish is slightly abrasive. It certainly shifts tar and light scratches

I stick to autoglym cos I can get 1Litre Super Resin for £8.99 and the gloss for £4.99.

Not tried the meguirs but nothing else ive tried has come close to super resin.

Best bet;

Ensure car is cleaned and dried.

Use a proper polishing cloth apply polish by working in small circles without pressing hard.

Dont polish in direct sunlight and ensure polish is dry before you buff it off using same method as applying but with a fresh dry cloth.
