Clearing out some old paperwork & found the Order Form for when I bought my MR2 Tbar from a Toyota franchise.

This was back in August 2002

Car price - £9445

Part Ex ('94 Corsa GSi) - £1600

Net Price - £7845

Finance payments from first direct - 48 x £209.20 = £10048.60 repayable

Robbing cunts!! Safe to say ive learned never to get sucked in by a car & take finance on it!!

Any of the brainy bunch work out what apr% is on that??

7% flat rate, 14.3% APR.

If I could do a finance deal like that at work, we'd earn £705 commission for the company from the Finance House.

i fooking hate finance salesmen

its all ok until it comes to payment protection insurance.

Blatantly obvious they get commision if they sell this, they make out they really care what would happen if you couldnt afford to make the repayments.

I say "No i dont need that thanks"

They say "Ok, how would you go about making repayments if X happened."

Me "No Thanks, not interested"

"What would happen if you couldnt make repayments?, "

Me "No Thanks, not interested"

"What would happen if you lost your job"

So i say "No i really do NOT want it or need it thanks"

"But as responsible lenders bla bla bla" STFU

got no problems with attempting to sell it but i hate sales people that push it, i had to get really funny with some if them
