its that time of yr cars just been dropped off and well, waiting for them to get back to me

good luck mate, hope it passes, i had mine not long ago and it failed on a few things like the emmisions but its all done now

aye the only things i think it will fail is brakes (pads need replacing) and tyres (2 front were low but didnt check how low )

but hey well will see lol

May be lucky and get just advisors on those two things as they're not a clear cut fail its more a fail if they're over a certain level if that makes sense

my brakes need replacing they're stripped got about 500 miles left in them but my contact hasn't got round to giving me my new brakes

quick mot question to check something (dont laugh) when the mot centre checks the brakes, do the wheels need to come off?

MOt's aren't that bad... i always think if the worst comes then i can re-shell for 4-500 quid anyway... anything else is fixable for not much anyway, thats why i own a vauxhall

um yer they have to take them off to check the brakes disc condition and pad wear. brake hose condition etc

lol aye know wot ya mean mate def cheap to reshell. na looking at buy a new astra on finace after the corsa. wasnt gonna do it till after uni but may just do it now if mot is shite lol

when mine went for its mot i was almost definately sure the brakes would need changed as they were almost gone but the garage never asked for the locking nut so would they have actually checked them

ummm hmm seems weird lol, have a look at the mot sheet they give u 9checklist) will have the brake section if they have ticke dit they must of checked them unless they are dodgy lol

it was a main vaux dealer so wouldnt think they were dodgy

When I had the sri mot'd they never took the wheels off. They just put it up on the ramps and looked underneath then check the brakes on the rollers.

they can only check things visually on an MOT which means the wheels dont come off


for the MOT they check brake efficiency on the rollers
