Precisely.
Should be relatively easy with an XE, it's normally aspirated.
It's when you've got a turbo tugging at the lead that uncontrollable wheelspin becomes an issue.

I caused quite a lot of wear on my front two tyres earlier pulling out of a junction too quickly just earlier on the way back from college, wasn't even deliberate!
I hate to think what it's like in a car that has 200bhp+ going through the front wheels!

So, exactly how fast are XE's?
I've got my heart set on TB's or Carbs or somekind of "extra", but how exactly does a standard xe compared to other cars

indeed, i cant see how people say they just wheel spin etc etc
try driving an f150 lightening in massive rain storms whe nthe drains are blocked...
doing full throttle runs whilst mr chip wizrad is mapping it...... then you get wheel spin!

clio 172 is prob as fast but handles a hell of a lot better and feels safer to drive, so in comparision they are not to bad in a straight line when you compare them.
depends what suspensionm you fit, what tyres what size tyres, a diff, how buggered the bushes are etc!
dont think that sticking a c20xe in will be awesome

awesome. well, just under 200bhp is amazing, so much fun, and decent tyres and throttle control make for a very fast car

what happens when you have a front wheel drive car put a bigger engine in it and leave the suspension standard...
i refuse to get involved in a debate on if the c20xe is better or worse than a 1.6

to have a tendency to turn less sharply than it should, given the degree by which the steering wheel is turned.
