Picked up my new car last weekend!!
Peugoet 206 Black
1.4 LX
28k miles
2001 reg
Picked it up from a garage for £3900, which included 12months MOT, 6months Tax, 3 Month Warranty and Full Service and Safety Check, and Full Valet!!
Picked it up after a trek yesterday!!
9:30am Picked up my GTi 180 Interior and Vortex Alloys from Bury!!
10:30am Dropped off my corsa at Manchester Picadilly Station!!
11 0am FINALLY, picked up my new Pug!!
Eventful Day but definately worth it!!
This week was a case of fitting the new parts, and cleaning it up, enjoying the feeling of driving a new-ish car!!

And the interior is just lush, soooooooo comfy and makes it look so much more aggressive and sporty:
And the expensive speedo pod, lol (seen one go for £120 including postage on ebay a few week back!!) Does look mint tho!!
So there they are!! Mods will probs be put off for a month or so now, while I save up for my hols, but once Im back it will be all systems go again!!
Big thanks to strick and his mates for helping install it, greatly appreciated!! Just gotta fit the rear door cards now, then collect the gear knob and handbrake from the lad I bought it off because he forgot them, then get my custom 180 style floor mats in next week!!

Plus, I got £150 for my old wheels trims and interior that ended on ebay tonight, so I'm in a good mood!??

yeah i love the wheels!!
plans are for a spax lowering kit, and a 180 style exhaust mate!!
all mods will be happening in next 12 months hopefully, along with a private reg for my bday!!
ive wanted a 206 since i got into cars, just summet about em, n to be honest im loving how its looking at the mo, and looking forward to 12 months of modding

theyre shite gearbox's feel like theyre made from lego, i worked at pug last year and drove even a few of the 180's and they were crap also, sorry to piss on your chips mate i just think they truelly are shite and id never own one even if i was given one, i would park it in a tesco car park and leave it running with keys in, and walk home.

was just the build quality that shcoked me and hearing alot of the behind the scenes things its appauling and i feel the reputation that peugeot have of being crap is well justified, i quite like the look of the 206 if im honest but compare them to other manufacturers they just feel flimsy.

That car does look nice, but I'm not sure on all the ideas to modify bits, ie black LED rear lights. just not sure, but may change my mind when I see it.
Does the GTi180 interior include an alcantara glovebox?
It does look good, but it needs to sit right on those wheels to make it look anything. Needs lowering asap, only 40mm I would say.
Other than that, well done mate!

agreed Ian. no need to slag the lads car off. it looks pretty nice, certainly better looking than a corsa, ok theyre so called poorly built etc, but he wasnt asking about that, he just wanted opinions on his new car in general.
its a really nice car mate, and you could improve it alot for very little money imo

oh dear oh dear, firstly its a pug im sure if posted pics of a corsa on a pug board that too would get a slating not saying other car members shouldnt be allowed to use the board but come on freedom of speech ,he posted pictures up and im sure didnt expect all commenst to be positive and im "ruining" threads for having an opinion.

as for the tail lights, they do look rather good. The problem is when the become chav, and too many people with crap cars have them.
That is what happened with Lexus lights on almost all cars now, even Lexus have stopped using them!
