have good reasons tho

for £4000-5000k i'd be getting a 13yr old car, over 100,000miles, petrol costs would be £10 a day, tax goes up, insurance goes up.

i know they nice to look at, quick motors, but when i think about my journeys i'm not gonna get the chance to use it properly = naff roads, don't go on fast roads v.often.

just can't justify it

fook knows what i should look at

modern diesels are great. I've driven a few now and they are quite refined.

The A3 I went to test drive on Saturday was pretty much silent. Although I'm guessing you wont be looking at brand new one. The older A3s and Mk4 Golfs are still pretty decent

Brother and his girlfriend have just bought a new Panda 1.2 Dynamique. Came with the 4x4 roof rails and air con. Solidily built and the doors sound very German! Not 4x4 though

If you want low miles, air con, quite new get a Mk4 Astra SRi of some sort, can get decent ones now for that kind of price.

pffft Jim. get a mk4 golf gti tdi, youll get the performance and economy and the luxury.
