Refurbishing suspension parts to make them look pretty.
I'm going to get my suspension arms and rear beam e.t.c... powder coated or I might spray them up with polyurethane paint. I'm trying to come to a conclusion. Do you show your effrorts off and paint them up a bright colour, I was thinking blue or silver to match my FK Coilovers or do I go for a stealthy satin black approach?
I know Jr has gone bright blue on a few of his parts which could be cool...

All very well doing this, and they do look good when theyr'e first done, but once they get stone chipped your efforts have been wasted!

This isn't for an every day car, it will get chipped up a little, but not too much.

Polyurethane paint is probably as tough as powder coating. It's the stuff that they paint JCB's and tractors with. I'll see how much powder coating costs, it just means that I would have to dismantle everything and get it to the shop which could be annoying...
Think I might try and match the blue of the FK springs for the beams and stuff, then do a few other bits in black or silver... Rear drums are a definate satin black though!!!

Not bad. I think I'll go that route as Vauxhall ones may cost as much or more
