I saw brad with all the clio 172 crew.

Spent most of my day going down the 1/4 mile, however my clutch was absolutely shagged.

If you actually tried to 'Launch' the car, it'd just slip, and slip and slip. Be in 2nd revving its tits off, into 3rd, no different Rev rev rev 7k... into 4th, still only doing like 50 mph but revving madly

As a result my times ranged from 14.9 to 18.6

Mostly 15.5's ish, as I was going down and when it started to slip, would lift off to let the clutch bite and then powering back down.

Gonna have to get clutch replaced and go to pod soon

I knew lots of people

I was also giving people rides in my car around the paddock (last years track course).

I thought you were there steve as I saw a car just like yours, it did a 10.9 0-60 though I was laughing.

Bring on the pod. Unless I get to run my car next weekend?

Its only covered about 9,000 miles. What a pile of shoot clutch. I was talking to my mate and he was saying they could've used 1 of 2 clutches, one that is good and one that is complete toss. Considering it was Mr . Clutch I'm thinking the latter, and considering 160 bhp through the bastard, it's likely its been cooked.

Was awesome beating Clio 172's Though pretty even tbh. And there was a couple of 172's that were tuned up and woah.

Every other Gti / VTS I raced I absolutely decked.

Right so...

Gotta get new clutch
Put on my new radiator
Change Engine Mount
Couple more bits and bobs
Get my Hair cut
Do Hoff Style kareoke

and I'll be ready for pod.

Hello all!

I took 150 pictures, heaps of video so will post all that up soon!

did 1 1/4 mile with a shit start bogged down and that was 0-60 of 7.5 and 1/4 of 15.4

i think i could get 1/2 second off the 0-60 and maybe upto a second off the 1/4

friends 172 same mods ran a 6.2 0-60 and 1/4 in 14.4

Was a good show, very sunburnt and not a lot of sleep didnt help!

I know, i wish i got some money for everytime i seen a 172/182 drive past me

But truthfully, seeing them rip round the track and up the strip made me want one real bad, and makes me startto think about binning the idea of an engine converion for the corsa
