I would suggest you modify your airbox first, will sound much better overall...then you can decat...
try derestricting and drilling/removing some parts of it does make a good noise diffenrece

i had a piperX induction kit but reverted back to a modified airbox:

Remove Airbox:

Unclip using screwdriver or something this:

So it looks like this:

Fit back on to car and enjoy the sound Sounded pretty good for a simple bit of plastic removed! Can easily be clipped back in when you get bored of noise or wanna sell it etc etc - no need for drilling etc

well worth..throttle response is better and so is the noise
no power gain though...maybe 0.5bhp

It's really not complicated! Put it this way - have a look under the bonnet and think about it. It's really not hard - and tbh you will struggle to break anything when doing this. Have a go!!
