Ive got a 44000 mile X-reg 180bhp Leon 1.8 20VT coming in soon. That'll be about 6/6.5k though.

thinking golt gti 18.t, 1999 or 2000 can be had for 5k. trader would be best as i can trade in the ladies car

sorry has to be everyday car and affordable to insure. gto will cost to much, parts aint to good either, and they look manky

seen the octavia vrs on piston heads, 4,995 and only 27k on clock with fhs, black too

Seat better specced than the golf. Also looks sportier. The Golf looks crap to say it was a GTi. Nice Recaros though.

golf is a decent car but would need a chip/remap to up the power! think you can get them to 220bhp without to many pennys!!

Well its true!! My dad had a 2000 GTi 1.8T in Canyon Red. The interior is fine and the seats are nice. On the outside however it just looks like a coloured base model. No visble tailpipe, no body kit like the mk3.

The Seat Cupras have got it all right, really milking the sporting hertage and making the cars stand out from the base models and speccing them right up.

bmw is old, the remap side of things wont be a problem, can get a good deal thru work afterall!

not to sure on the seat, looks a bit funny IMO and its 5 door??? want 3 door really
