right, u may remember i bought a tigra for £300 ages ago that was gonna be for me gf, well we split up so i am either finishing it to sell or maybe me i dont know yet!!!! wanna have it all done for under 1k tho!!!

so here is how i bought it:-

then did some welding:-

some smoothing:-

then eventually descided againt bodykit when me and gf were together and smoothed bumpers@-

this is how it was on saturday:-

been busy since then cos had few days spare when hitmans car was at max power live:-

re skimmed places with filler to get perfect and masked the car up:-

then it went into primer and rubbed down:-

painted under the bonnet one night so i could do the rest the next day:-

here is how it looked last night:-

come out really well will get pics of the car ousdie tomorrow, gonna mop it in next day or so cos people say i should be mopping 24-28hours after painting thats where i went wrong on hitmans car so this is dummy run for when i re do laquer on hitmans car!!!

then have got to service the new engine, with tentioners, cambelf, water pump and fan belt etc!!! then have crack at putting that in!!!

also went to get leather yesterday when i was waiting for paint to arrive so got some blue leather for inside same as they use in lotus elise so should sort out inside, along with black to do pillars and some silver fresh roof lining to cover that with!!!

debating if to lower it with some spare springs i have lieing around which are 60ml front and 40ml rear?!?!?!

or go whole hog and try get it as low as possable and put bistine coilovers on that i got from other corsa!!!! think i could lower it 100ml with these wheels on..........ummmm

here is my budget:-

CAR:- 300
TRANSPORT TO GET TI HOME:- 120
ENGINE:- 175 1.6 16V
CAMBELT,TENTIONERS, OIL ETC ETC ETC:- 130
PAINT:- VERY LITTLE COS IT WAS ALL LEFT OVER FROM ANOTHER CAR :- 50
OTHER MATERIALS, FIBREGLASS, WELDING ETC ETC ETC :- 50
LEATHER TO TRIM, ROOF LINING, GLUE, ETC :- 75
MOT ONCE DONE:- 40 IF PASSES?!?!?!
PAIR HEADLIGHTS:- 40

TOTAL :- £805

loving the look of the bumpers, and paint looks spot on, is it ford imp blue?

Is the paint that you used left over from the ex Max Power Corsa that you had in some photos in another thread? Looks a similar colour.

I like it

keeping them wheels on?
might let down the great colour adn smoothness. just put the springs on and make a quick profit.

Once again fantastic job, I never really post in your threads lol, I just like following the progress on them.

The booth looks great and the amount of money youve saved on labour is amazing.
