Thats why I can't go for coilovers on mine Robin, as it is, the inner edge of the rim is about 4mm from the strut

i fitted a front corner of my rsx kit and then took it off as i found out i would need 10mm spacers as it was still too close with 5mm spacers and i couldnt lower it then cause the wheels would stick out the arches
you should be ok with different arches and et42 though.
