Hi guys, im in the middle of taking the 1.4 Sport 16v engine out and dropping a C20XE in. Just a couple of questions.
Do i need to keep the radiator from my sport?
How difficult is a loom to fully connect?
Will the C20XE drop my car lower to the ground reason being ive got quite a low front bumper as it is?
What welding needs done?
Cheers for the help guys. Most apreciated

u need some machining done then... or use m-tec hubs. I used the gsi driveshaft and cav inner cvs tactic... seen some stick and still work absolutely fine

I think the driverside mount needs to be approx 2 inches higher than where the original mount goes. You shouldn't need to weld the engine bay as it is strong enough, unlike the Nova. However, if you do decide to seam weld the engine bay, this will help reduce the flex in the body of the car. I have a mate who is running GSI shafts and cav inners and his works fine. I have also heard that someone has ran a turbo'd 2 litre using Corsa GSI shafts with no problems.

by the way, the mount on the far left is for powersteering, you obviously only need it if your wanting to have power steering

those mounts are completly different to mine! you need to weld up the gear linkage to extend it to fit.
