So what does everyone think of tonights results?

Utd did well, made the most of their chances and kept a clean sheat even with a few defensive errors. Scoring really well considering RVN has gone, although still think that against better teams that move will come back and haunt them.

Arsenal did what was needed to go through, glad they did as that ground deserves Champions League footy.

... im not saying they werent, but they were fukin silly mistakes to make, wes browns handball , rush of blood to the head in an other wise steady game. they played well, o'shea does need to be dropped/killed though.

one was with his hands above his head. Accidental or not your hands cant be there and it should have been a pen. And the tackle from behind by Silvestre was a pen too IMO, couldnt see his foot get the ball.

But like you said its results that matter and you've had two good results and doing well.

Agree'd

Silvestre was a hard one to call due to position

Wes's was h/b ... but anything to do with Evra was accidental

I found the coverage of the gooners game hard to take.

'they really have to get used to the 'pitch' used far too often for my liking

Used to the pitch? What, you mean they didnt have a rectangle of grass at highbury?

I watched the Chelsea game last night and altho Boro won I think a draw would of been a fair result.

Schevchenko is a master from free kicks, but throughout the game he dissapeared, even though he did score.

Boro kept getting stuck in, and closing Chelsea down all the time. Once Chelsea went 1-0 up they went into cruise control (wasn't great to be honest) and then some VERY poor defending allowed Boro to get 2 goals and win the game.

Fair play to Boro though and Southgate
