I need a coolant bottle for an 8v corsa to go into my car. tried vaux but they are £38+vat and are special order with a 10 day wait. want one asap.

anyone seen any other types of coolant bottles used on corsas? must have 1 big outlet at the bottom and 1 small inlet from the rad at the top

not with tb's. all you need is the bottom one going into the black pipe round the back of the engine and the one from the top of the rad. the 2nd pipe on 16v engines goes through the throttle body.

if you get a mucky one then clean it out the best you can and leave it to soak in bleach to get it back to the white/clear colour.

On some 2.0 conversions I have seen people teeing off the larger pipe going back into the coolent bottle to allow the smaller pipe to be atached to it. Is this allowed or is it a bodge? Just seen Brosters bottle and it's where I want to move mine to to make some space in my rather tight engine bay.
