Going to fit it tomorrow...Talking to Volvo techs and because the air filter sits way off to the RHS of bay it doesn't get much heat soke and seem to work well on the engine..Time will tell..going to get plenty cold air into it and maybe even try and fit it inside an adapted original air box..

also Dv getting fitted friday morning not costing me much money so if i hate it can remove it after a while..And if i feel car is not running great with either they will be removed straight away...

vta dump valves are not ace, and cone filters are a big no no, especially on turbo cars.

if its in the engine bay it will get hot. if you want to fit a k and n, get a custom pipe made up and situate the k & n near the wheel arch or something

I know a few of you on here know your stuff
But I have spoken to volvo techs and alot of ppl on a few sites with turbo volvo's etc and some running bigger power etc and they have never had problems with an ind kit.
I know you are trying to help but i will fit it and if it has any detremental effect it will come off...

and as for vid i will try, going to buy a video cam soon anyway.

I'd seal it off from the engine bay Mav, not all cars suffer from having them fitted though, you are right.
