Was going to buy a saxo vts BUT....

im think im gonna buy a diesel for a year or so then get something fast when im about 21

sooooo..


i want a diesel i can remap and get a nice torque figure and plenty of poke whilst being economical at the same time..


Im not sure what to get, i can get insured on the all...

cheers rob, im guessing theyre similar engines in the others?

il avoid the 90 105, ideally i want the 130 as its a nice figure as standard and even nicer onced mapped

yeah, the engines are the same throughout the different makes, bar the 150 engine, which apparently is prone to turbo problems, so the 130 is the best...

was going to spend 3k on a vts or 106, but id rather leave it two months and save another 1-2k

definitely, an A3/Golf/Leon/whatever would be much better, you'd actually not get bored of driving a tin box...

Polo is a good one i think...Guy at work had the GTI td remapped to 170 I think it was

cheers for the help rob, im swaying towards the leon but the golf look solid..

the other halfs mum has the a3 1.9 tdi so im getting put off due to the fact that i cant compete with her 54 plate audi

would a remap cuase the mpg to go down on a diesel?

just cos the main thing the diesel is good for over a petrol is that extra bit more miles you get, so why waste it.
